Sensemaking and spirituality: the process of re-centring self-decentralisation at work

چکیده

This study explores sensemaking as grounded in identity construction the context of workplace spirituality to uncover how individuals make sense process self-decentralisation. The paper adopts Buddhist notion non-self an analytical tool explore practitioners organisational contexts ‘empty out’ and de-centre self constructing negotiating self-identity workplace. Through 104 interviews with both executives employees who are practitioners, reveals a phenomenon re-centring self-decentralisation emerging pursuit findings contribute deeper understanding work spiritual practice highlight practical implications for HRM practices manage dynamic interpretations enactments organisations.
